The Saudi Society of Optometry will conduct the conference

The conference is the only of its kind of the specialty of optometry which concentrate on elevating the level of optometry specialists. Increase the knowledge of sub-specialties in optometry which will affect and elevate the service level been provided to the patients.

Saudi Society of Optometry was founded in April 2007, a scientific society in the field of optometry and vision science.

The Saudi Society of Optometry is under the umbrella of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (Resolution No. 8/A/28).

The SSO has the vision of promoting the delivery of quality eye and vision care to Saudis through the practice of optometry and in providing continuous education and training services to the eye care professionals.

1. Improve the art and science of optometry.

2. Maintain high standards within the profession.

3. Promote better public understanding of the optometry profession. 4. Provide support to the profession of optometry to assure quality health care for all public.

5. Fulfill the eye care needs of the community through clinical care, research and education to enhance quality of life

6. Promoting the following core values which define, guide and inform our professional association: professionalism, transparency, education, advocacy, proactivity, and innovation.
